  2. Finger food and meals packages for functions of all sizes;
  3. Ancillary catering services, such as staff to prepare and serve food at your party, as well as associated party needs such as tables, tablecloths, crockery and glassware; and
  4. Cafe and catering services for schools.

Our History

Avoca Catering isn’t just another big catering company that runs a portfolio of clients across a vast number of market segments. We are, quite simply, a company that, by its design and strategy, has elected to remain focussed on a group of customers that are treated as our family – the food we serve is prepared on a daily basis with a view to providing amazing fresh and healthy and tasty food for our loyal customers

Avoca Catering was founded in 1999 when its owner and managing director, Denise Bradbury, wanted to return to work after having her one and only daughter Meg. It was originally known as The Gourmet Crate Company when it started as a café and catering business on St Kilda Road in St Kilda.

In 2004, it changed its name to Avoca Catering when it ceased gourmet crates and café operations in St Kilda. As the business grew, it operated from different premises in the inner south-east of Melbourne.

in 2015, it broadened its direction to focus on providing new and innovative food offerings to the educational sector. This resulted in our expanded operations commencing from multiple school campuses.
